How to enable Microsoft Excel macros?

  • Required Microsoft Excel 2007 / higher version with updated service pack. 
  • Enable Excel Macros – WATCH VIDEO CLICK
  • In Trust Center settings window select the ‘Macro settings’ option and then select Enable security setting.
  • Enable all ActiveX, Trusted Locations, Trusted Document options.
  • Add software path in Excel Trusted Location option (Like.. C:\)
  • Restart the Microsoft Excel again.

How to enable ODBC in Tally?

Fo​r Tally ERP version –

  • Open Tally with any Company.
  • Press F12 and select “Advanced Configuration” option.
  • select “Enable ODBC Server” option and  enter “YES”
  • select “PORT option and enter “9005”
  • Restart Tally application.
  • This is one time process.

For Tally 7.2 to Tally 9 version –

  • Open Tally with any Company.
  • Press F12 and select “Advanced Configuration” option.
  • select “Enable ODBC Server” option and  enter “YES”
  • select “PORT option and enter “9005”
  • Restart Tally application.
  • This is one time process.

About Excel To Tally Templates –

  • Software has different templates formats for different use for different data.
  • Every template column field has specified format and so do not change it.
  • Template mandatory-column fields heading showing in Blue & Light Blue background color.
  • Template optional-column fields heading showing in Purple & Dark Purple background color.
  • In template to make empty fields or cells use delete key. do not use space any special characters.
  • If templates format is destroyed, then simply copy templates from HELP template.
  • Use copy and value paste data method to keep field column format as it is.
  • Must read the software in-built HELP template for more details.

Menu & Controllers Keys –

  • F1 / Mouse Right click = Open MY Menu | XLTOOL Menu.
  • ESC / CLOSE button = Exit menu.
  • XLTOOL Menu = About our Contact & License details.
  • MY Menu = Import data in tally | Create Master ledgers list | Create Stock items list | Controllers.
  • START button = Directly post data into Tally application from Excel.
