How to Activate Excel Macros (Step by Step):

Unlock file: Right-click the Excel file, go to Properties and click UNBLOCK if shown.
Open Excel and go to File > Options.
Click on Trust Center from the left menu.
Click Trust Center Settings button.
Select Macro Settings from the left.
Choose Enable all macros and check Trust access to VBA project object model.
Go to Trusted Locations and add your XLTOOL folder path (like D:\XLTOOL).
Click OK to close all dialogs.
Close Excel completely and reopen your file.

Prerequisite Software:

Microsoft Excel 2007 or higher (with latest service packs). Service Packs download links given at download page.
Windows 7 or higher (with updates). Recommended for better performance and security.
Tally versions supported: Tally 7.2, Tally ERP 9, Tally Prime & newer versions.

How to Activate License:

Open software.
Click XLTOOL Menu.
Then click License Menu.
Enter ADMIN password (which received by Email).
Enter registered Email ID & Press Activate button.
May ask OTP which send by email.

How to enable ODBC in Tally?

For Tally PRIME version –

Open Tally with any Company.
Press F1 and select “Settings” option.
Select Client/Server configuration
Select “Enable ODBC Server” option and enter “YES”
Select “PORT” option and enter “9005”
Restart Tally application. This is one time process.

For Tally 7.2 to Tally 9 version –

Open Tally with any Company.
Press F12 and select “Advanced Configuration” option.
Select “Enable ODBC Server” option and enter “YES”
Select “PORT” option and enter “9005”
Restart Tally application. This is one time process.

About Excel To Tally Templates:

Software has different template formats for different data.
Every template column field has specified format; do not change it.
Mandatory columns have Blue & Light Blue headings.
Optional columns have Purple & Dark Purple headings.
To clear fields, use Delete key, not spaces or special characters.
If format is destroyed, copy templates from HELP template.
Use copy-paste values to preserve column formats.
